My son found this 4' beauty while mowing a neighbor's lawn. He pulled it out of a shrub and cornered it. It put on a big show as a bluff, but didn't actually attempt to bite me. It even calmed right down after 5 minutes of handling. Great snake!

Oh, almost forgot, it's a black rat snake.
