I received erroneous info on the house bill number please change all references to hb3709 to HB3079.

I just got off the phone with Lisa @ Sen. Hegars office. To make a long story short, HB3391 looks like it is a no go. Sen. Hegar does not want to open any of the Sunset bills to amendments. He has five and opening one for amendment would apparently cause a landslide of amendment request. So the short of it is, unless someone with more pull opens the others, we aaren't getting on that bill.

So we really need to push HB3079. It still requires Sen. Uresti's help. We need him to introduce the language of HB1500 into HB3079. Call his office and ask for Thomas, as he's the one working on it. The sponsor of this bill is Sen Hegar as well. They sound like they are open to accepting our language so please be polite.
