At three feet a 15 gallon tank is large enough for her but tanks with screen tops are TERRIBLE cages for Rainbow Boas. The screen top allows warm humid air to rise out of the tank. Cool and very dry room air will fall into the tank replacing the warm humid air. People recognize that the cage is cold because of this flue effect and compound the problem by applying more heat to the cage. Rather than increasing the heat they should limit the loss of warm humid air. These snakes do well in cages with very limited ventilation.

>>I had a set up (15 gallon tall) for a baby BRB, but rescued a CRB instead. Not as colorful as the BRB, but very tame. She is about 3 feet long and has resided in the fifteen gallon enclosure for a few days. She was in a fifteen gallon along with another CRB formerly. Should I upgrade immediately, or can she thrive in the 15 gallon for a few months?
