I wish I could say yes thats the moon and no thats not my finger in the pic but I would be lying on both accounts. The shot was actually taken very carefully about 10ft above the snake looking down and that is a flashlight shining up trying not to lose it. The snake was about 20ft. up the rock face. This was my first time to get an in situ shot of an alterna and I really wanted that picture. Wish it could have been better. The first one of the night disappeared before we could get cameras out. This alterna was the third we observed in 15 minutes in the same area. Chris Drake
