...depends on how they are setup/ box type and if there are air holes and all....tell us more......but you don't have to bug them all the time....
as for mom, you can feed her a couple seconds after she is done laying.....usually they won't eat for a day ,maybe more....they will strike alot and bite...mine won't usually eat normally,so I kick start them with a gerbil, my friends have been pigging out on frozen thawed rats right away ....
