Here's my 2 cents...
1 Sell anything you don't want to keep normal or morph both are great.You will make very little money on normals I sell males for 10.00
2 Buy something you like. It would depend on your budget. I started off cheap and have sold and traded to get a better selection of morphs.
If you pic codom pick a morph that has a super such as a pastel ,cinny, mojave lets say instead spider.... just an example.. Make more combos later on as you build your collection,
or a codom het recessive like spider het ghost would be better than just a spider.............. just an example you will be able to do more with your animals.
3 Craigs list can work. I sell most my animals by word of mouth happy customers bring business and good word spreads just as well as bad in the herp world . Everybody wants to know where they got that killer new snake that there showing off.
4 Depends on what you want some people do.
5 Yes if you like to clean cages. CLEAN AND CLEAN AND CLEAN AND CLEAN CAGES. I have about 25 snakes boas, balls ,carpets and a green tree python it takes the better part of 3 hours to clean every ones cages.
6 If you are going to breed do it for the love of what you are doing.It can be hard on you Emotions at times when you loose an animal or have deformed hatchlings sometimes there are big not nice choices that will need to be made.
