I totally agree , normals may be normals but they sure come in handy if you want to make some codoms. I just set up 17 eggs this weekend from 2 "just normal girls" they were both bred to Mystic males so I kinda doubt I will be upset with 6-8 Mystics from a couple of mutts (as some folks like to call them) now will I? I also had a Het Albino girl (another fairly common one that people seem to be dumping these days) lay 10 eggs today, she was bred to a Pastel Yb 100% Het Albino . I doubt I'll be that upset when I slit that clutch that "just a Het" laid either! Babies from that clutch could come in handy considering I have Whirlwinds (Super Stripe makers) that are also Het for Albino already.
Normal breeder female adults are still not something I am in a big hurry to sell. I will likely be selling a few normal girls off, not because I don't have a use for them, but because I am about out of room . My way of looking at the normal adult girls is if they lay even only 1 good clutch for you every 3 years then you are still getting a solid return on your money, that is "if" you have the right males to breed to them (Supers, multigene males, even valuable single gene males) .
Plus sometimes having a normal is VERY valuable if your just looking for one trait or trying to prove something out without making the results uncertain.
Just my 2 cents.
