Hello

Cool looking snake. I dont think that is a San Diego Gopher. Looks like it has a lot of Sonoran Gopher influence but over all looks like a Gopher cross / hybrid. Maybe some Great Basin influence like Darren says. Its hard to say really but I am 99% sure it is not San Diego.
