(No offense intended to you pet store guys that are more consciences)..... like Scott and the guys over at Amazon!

No offense taken! The problem is ANY pet store (including us) get free animals from people. Many times the animal has been passed from hand to hand for years. Nobody knows the origin.

Likely, the reason John singles us out is our policy on this topic. He knows we strive for knowledge and will not misrepresent. In the case of a "Snake Doe" we just pass it on as is, with no warranty of purity. We even offer them as "pet quality, not capable of breeding". This way the buyer gets a cool pet and has no delusions.
Sadly, the snake could again get passed on and then...................... , well you get the idea.
