An '07 hog male may well be off feed for sexual reasons-many (not all)of my hog males will go as long as 4 or 5 months without feeding-maybe take a meal or two in March right out of brumation, then refuse to eat through the whole breeding season, sometimes until mid-late July! This does not seem to do them any harm, though they may be a bit thin by July.
