From what I understand, Longtails do not get above the seven foot range. I have heard of "monstrous" sizes, but I think six feet is ideal. If anyone knows different, please say so. Hogs range from 5-7 feet, females of course being larger. Hog crosses of course may get a little larger.

I give my boas about 50-60% humidity. Longtails need a little more than most boas I've noticed. I would stay upwards of 50% for those guys.

Any snake can be aggressive. Any snake can be dog tame. I have mostly tame snakes, but there are some that are hissy and snappy. It mostly depends on the snake's individual personality.



My two cents: If you want a more exotic snake, get the longi. If you want a nice pet, get a hog.
