I think many of the books(many times picked up in pet stores) are from early 90s, maybe older. I have a couple older ones and much of whats written is still relevant. In my opionion, some things like breeding have become more refined over the years. I believe people have learned over time that you can get your Ball Pythons to breed year round and some people dont even cycle them cold anymore. Another area is that many people have gone from Perilite mixture to the no-subsrtate method for incubation of eggs....like that. The older books are still great and I refer to my books all the time. What year is the book you have copy righted?
