A sponge is dense and isnt designed to dissipate moisture into the air like these pads are. You can see these have much bigger pours which would make for much more surface area, and a much, much greater exchange of water & humidity into the air inside the incubator. Also, I bet these pads would hold a greater volume of water. | ||
