Southern & Bull Snake egg comparison

I am always amazed at how large Southern Pine eggs are when they are laid. It is no wonder that Southern hatchlings are about twice the size of a bull when hatched.

This is a picture of a newly laid Southern Pine egg and a newly laid Bull egg together. Before we put them into incubation today.
