Im making a humidity box for my balls> I found some wooden boxes from a crafts store and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to use these boxes. Not sure what type of wood they are. They dont smell like cedar though. Its real thin wood and light colored like a blonde color. Its just raw wood. So can i use these boxes?


Also i was looking at putting some mineral oil on the inside to help keep mold from growing. I have read that it is non toxic but since im putting this box on the hot side of the enclosures, will it put off a toxic fume then? Is it a good idea? Any opinions would be great. Thanks
