First off I've seen some real nice clutches this year so far, congrats everyone!

I have to wait until next year (hopefully) before I can start my breeding plans. I have a nicely colored female that as soon as she gets over this feeding slump she's in can breed next year with my pastel male.

I also have another female that will no doubt be ready to breed next year (she's a garbage disposal). However she is (in my opinion) way to darkly colored to think about pairing with the pastel. So I'm at a quandry as to what to do with her. I have given a LOT of thought to it the last few months. I think I've narrowed it down to three possibilities: yellowbelly, cinnamon, black pastel.

I don't know how the YB's would turn out (anyone have a darker female they've bred a YB to?), but I love ivory balls so it'd be cool to get one down the road. Also pastel YBs would be sweet. The cinnamon/black pastel I think would turn out cool and down the road a silver streak is a definite possibility...those are awesome! The cinnamon and black pastels I've seen are similarly priced so it comes down to which one makes the best silver streak???

Keep up the good work everybody...love the eye candy

Dan
