I have not found any myself above 90 degrees but I think Dan Johnson and Chris Sheldon found alterna on Black Gap the same evening in early July 93 or 94 when the afternoon temp reached 111 and was still in the mid to upper 90's wen they found theirs. Dan's was out walking though, Chris' was on the road or shoulder.

Mike Forstner found a big hill river road and he told me it was still in the upper 90's around midnite when he found it. These are all air temps however not surface temps. I always felt when it was too hot to wear a t shirt at night it was too hot for alterna but thats just me. Heard it was 109 in Lajitas yesterday. Good Luck. BA
