Aspen or Reptile Sand for substrate?

I recently bought a children's python from the Hamburg show. She's very docile to handle and ate a frozen/thawed pinky right away! I was wondering what you guys prefer for substrate. I was considering either reptile sand or aspen bedding. Any comments, suggestions or ideas would be helpful!
