2-3 times a week depending on weather, if it's going to rain I don't bother because it will get messy and there are tons of worms in the soil and when it rains they come up to the surface and the turtles gorge themselves on them, if fact I watched them eating worms from my bedroom window today while it was raining. Also there are an abundance and variety of insects due to my entire backyard is either vegetable garden or wild flower garden. If I don't feed them for 4-5 days they just eat more, if I have time and feed every other day they eat less, nobody is starving, plus they can and sometimes do eat the dandelions if they get desperate. Lately I have been picking strawberries by the gallons from my patch in the backyard and any that are a bit too far I give to the turtles as a treat, they love them, but maybe not as much as I enjoy strawberries with ice cream and chocolate sauce or home made strawberry dacari or margaritas, oh yeah!!! ----- Jeff Benfer
