That sounds like a great project, and cant wait to hear about the results and most importantly, see some photographs!
I agree that what we currently see in the market regarding brindles is (or at least can be) very different from what they looked like many years ago.
You mentioned a line of axanthics by Ben Hoiting....... I'm not at all familiar with him or his animals. I only knew of a very small number of axanthic Texas ratsnakes some years ago. To my knowledge, no one is even working on that any longer.
Is Ben's like related to this TX rat line...???
