The face actually, after more than a decade of keeping boas I
can't say that I've never been bitten by any of my boas anymore.
Last night I got bit at very close range. My female het for
albino, arabesque who's always been one of my calmest boas
just barely missed my right eye. It was a love tap. 
Really, there are almost no marks on my face today & she is about
five feet long. It was wierd, it wasn't a SFE. No rats in my
house, it wasn't a defensive or overtly aggressive strike either.
I had been handling her for over half an hour, I was walking
past a table in the dark & before I knew what happened she
struck out at my face. She was totally calm right after, and
didn't want to go back to her cage. I ended up keeping her out
for another 10-20 minutes.
I had my dog in the living room, less than 15 feet away. I think
maybe the scent of the dog may have spooked her.?
