That's been a concern of mine for a while and I no longer let the boas get up near my face. Sounds like a very odd bite situation, it must have been the dog scent making her uneasy or possibly a quick change in or out of a dark room? Hard to say. I'm so glad she didn't get you in the eye and you are okay!
