Happy Fathers Day to all. Not a father in the human sense, but this is a great fathers day present for me!

Years ago I saw leopards at Daytona and thought that they would look awesome as albinos. I picked up a pair and raised them up. I bred the leopard male to an albino female and got 11 dbl hets. 3 of those dbl hets supposedly "died" under someone elses care, and I was left with 7 dbl hets. I thought I had 2.5 but turned out to be 3.4

I have bred colombians for years but never produced central type boas. I was not used to the size and decided that they were still too small. Spoke with Tom Burke at Daytona and he told me size was not an issue, they breed alot smaller then I would think. So I missed last years breeding season when I could have tried to produce them. Oh well, they only got a little bigger.

Well this year I put all the groups together and saw lots and lots of breeding. My buddy, Kevin, from BCI EXOTICS would come by with his ultrasound and check on the progress of the females for me.

Then this:

1st female: 2 leopards, 4 albinos, 1 poss. dbl het MISSED!!

2nd female: 1 leopard still, 8 slugs- first time ever I actually had more then a few slugs MISSED AGAIN!!

3rd female: 6 slugs, 4 smokin hot Leopards. MISSED!! NOW IM SWEATING.

4th female: had her babies today. Opened bin all I see are 1 Leopard, 2 Albinos, 6 dbl hets. I was worried I had missed again!!! She was still twitching so closed the bin and left. Came back, saw that she was about to spit another one out.

Please note that I have NEVER seen one of my boas give birth. I have had dozens and dozens of litters and NOT ONCE, not even close, have I seen babies come out. I opened the bin and BAM while I was actually watching, she pops out an ALBINO LEOPARD!

TALK ABOUT AWESOME!!
