While the Guatamelan subspecies may be sympatric with durissus, I am not sure that the lineaticolis we have in the herp trade is. They are mountain dwellers and I believe the rattlesnakes are not.

Still, these kinds of "coincidences" are too common to be without benefit.

I will be happy to be proven incorrect about the sympatry of these species!
