Do not lose heart, just help yourself help the snake, you did good coming here with your questions, small fuzzies are what you want, feed it one, let it digest several days (4-5) feed it again, if it gets the one down and is prowling the cage, try another. A few weeks of two fuzzies, then up it to three for a few weeks, try a small hopper the next time, you will get the feel for it. Try feeding at night if it doesn't eat during the day. Put it next to the hide and let it alone for a bit. There are many ways to feed snakes, so try a few things differently.
