Since most paradox happens in het to het breeding you can assume those animal are probably related. You are hitting on hetxhet albino and het x het paradox. So really it would be a double morph and need the double hets to produce it.



I have been quietly following paradoxes since Scott Selstad produced a paradox albino boa constrictor.



So far, (except for the paradox kenyan sand boas) all paradox I have looked into are in clutches or litters in which both a light and dark specimens are expected. In scott's case he had albino and het albino boas. He did chase that one from every angle and could not reproduce it.



A few years ago Discover channel featured a story of a women (human) that had legal troubles because her childrens' blood did not show her as a parent. Later she gave birth again, this time with officials gathering evidence and witnessing the birth. This also showed the baby unrelated to the mother that birthed her. Of course the baby was hers. Scientists and medical doctors looked further and surmised she has a "hidden twin" inside her body. It was this twins ovaries that produced the eggs that became the children in question. This twin had a different father than the women I discuss, thus the babies showed up as unrelated.



I call this "blended embryo" or "blended twin"



From this we learn many things.



The grandmother cheated on her husband.



Testing of blood is not 100% conclusive. (Perish the thought!)



Organisms may have genetic material from more than two parents.



And snakes may have the look of two different morphs, one light and the other dark.



It can also happen in two albinos but we'd never see it. We only see it when contrasting offspring are expected.



This phenomenon is common enough that in cornsnakes they sell for about $500. Believe me, in cornsnakes it has been chased and not proven out. It has happened often enough and they make enough babies that proof comes in just a few years.
