Mine just shed yesterday. After the shed, I tried feeding one 4g hairless mouse with vitamins and it grabbed it off the tongs but didn't eat. Thinking it was a good chance it was the taste of the vitamins (since it held it in its mouth for a bit but didnt eat), I wiped the vitamins off with a f/t day old chick because I wanted my second attempt to me more sure. It ate. Later yesterday night I fed him another hairless mouse (8g, no scenting) and it ate that too.

Articled on these snakes have said dipping small rodents in egg yolk has worked, but I really think these genetic hariless mice are pretty great, and a little bird scent is good for an added edge.

Don't be afraid of a little scent. Imprinting is a myth, and if yours happens to be the one that will only take scented...you can always sell it to me : )
