What a waste, a precious little life lost.
Such a tragedy could have and should have been avoided. Just like the deaths of children by being left in a car on a hot day.
Problem is the media will get ahold of this and sensationalize it. You never hear about responsible keepers like myself who have been faced with similar situations and took care of it the proper way. 18 years ago I had a female Burm, at 11.5 feet was getting big and still a young, growing fast, python. I also had a wife who was pregnant. I chose to sell my burm and not have an animal in the house that could cause such a tragedy. Not because my wife said so, this was something I thought of and acted on myself. ----- Thanks,
Dave Colling
