winslow here,

I have fed feeder roll over and or fetal pigs over the last 2 years. Most are 2.5-3.5 pound stillborns (umbilical cords attached), while some larger ones are roll over babies weighing 4-7 pounds. I get my pigs at HAMBURG Pa shows for about $1 a pound from a vendor there.
My retics love them. I will say that the nondigestible content fur, hooves, etc is much less than in other feeder rodents... so you get a large ammonia urate and water residual that smells rough about 4 days after feeding but the stool volume and frequency is hugely reduced.

my animals are happy to eat other food after eating pigs as they themselves are pigs always looking for food.

i have had good clutches after feeding pigs to breeder females and find them the most reasonable food item for adult retics as long as my contact has them available at the shows, though he seems to sell out early of late.

his name is rob ciaciak 267 885 5505
tell him Dr. winslow murdoch a Hamburg customer sent you.

winslow
