Hey Bill,
I've fed pigs to a large part of my collection, off and on for several years, only had one purple male that wouldn't transfer over. I'm back to rabbits now, because my source dried up, and I found a fantastic in-state rabbit breeder that has bred me rabbits up to 20 lbs.!(She also gives me an outstanding price!) So now I don't have to mess with minimum orders, shipping, and my biggest peeve, the nasty chocolate syrup consistency defecation's I used to experience. Now I'm not saying that pigs are not a good food source, quite the contrary, but for me, the cons started out weighing the pros.
But to answer your question directly, most 'tics will transfer to pigs without too much trouble.
