Hay,Thanks everyone, its still a thrill after all this time, you still NEVER KNOW until the little guy's hatch out.I'm still working out bugs in the system.I had some FULL TURM D.I.E (dead in egg)a few years ago that really bothered me.But there is always a reason, you just have to figure it out and it might take a few years. So,I had no full term D.I.E but there was a pair of twins that died along the way.(maybe a week to go)First time for that too.Charlie, one emys emys layed a few days ago.She too was 6 weeks early'er like the phayrei. One more clutch of phayrei eggs to go in a few weeks along with the emys eggs had a bit of a scare this 4th when my power went out on a 95F day.It took them all day to get here and fix it.It was driving my incubator temps.up so I put frozen veggy's in the incubator to bring the temp down!It seemed so WRONG!but it worked(a little to good)This wasnt a first! But what a day for a 22 yr.old power line to go out!Oh!what Carma caused this! Its all part of the gamble. The thrill of victory or the agony of defeat. It did take more than one beer to get through it.....the hot weather of cource.
