Don't worry about them. When I first started I would incubate at 89 degrees like everyone else, but then I heard from another breeder that he actually incubates at about 86 degrees. The babies take a couple more days to pip but, on average, they seem healthy and are more robust.

I've been using 86.5 as my incubation temperature for the past four or five years with no problems. The nice thing is that if I do have a temperature spike I have a couple more degrees of leeway.

All in all, they are subjected to a much wider temperature gradient in the wild than we traditionally provide or tolerate as breeders.
