They seem to efficiently convert food into growth when young. I like to see them grow at a rate of around one inch per month when they are young. Some people grow them faster than that like your snake is growing and both growth rates seem to result in healthy long lived snakes. Changing from feeding every week to every other week when they are a year old or thereabouts is fine. Adjust the size of the meals and monitor the growth over the next few months to be sure the snake is still growing. | ||
