Thanks for the replies. The eggs were only in the eco-earth overnight and I mixed the vermiculite and perlite so that I could I squeeze it and no water came out but it does clump. I put a few layers of vinyl mesh between the eggs and the substrate, hopefully that'll help. Any other suggestions you guys have that may help would be greatly appreciated.
