This guys is really cool in person! One of the neat things about breeding Ball Pythons is speculating what will come out and then actually seeing them hatch.
I was curious to see what would happen when a reduced/no side pattern animal was bred with a very busy patterned animal. Would the busy pattern take over or would the reduced pattern wipe everything out? Well I have my answer now. It seems the Het Red Axanthic gene causes the Genetic Stripes to wipe out more pattern than usual.
I can't wait to produce the Red Axanthic Genetic Stripe. This guy is one very neat looking little guy!

This clutch looked like hell and his egg I thought had gone bad a while ago.......

Enjoy,
Corey
