If I remember correctly, one of the reasons they were so excited about her clutch hatching was because it had both males and females. Since sex chromosomes in snakes are Heterozygous for female (ZW) and Homozygous for male (ZZ) she was able to produce both male and female copies of herself when her gametes recombined into both sexes.
