Thanks. I really wish I could brag about my photography skills, but I can't. The lighting in the serpentarium was really difficult to deal with, and after futilely trying different settings (white balance, flash/no flash, ISO, aperture) etc., I ended up trying "Program mode.) So the camera somehow determined the flash was not necessary but allowed for enough light exposure.
I agree, crocodilians are amazing animals. That's one thing I miss about living in Florida, seeing gators all the time.
