Ok a friend of mine came home to python eggs so we hooked up a home made incubator and am going to try and get some babies- ought to be interesting.

We have 4 eggs in a small shoe-box size plastic tote. We have the temperature perfect and maintaining well at 88.5-89 degrees. We used pearlite in the bottom of the tub- with the egg crate plastic stuff (for florecent lights) on top the pearlite-- and the eggs on top the egg crate- they are not touching the pearlite.

Our problem:
We can't get the humidity to get above about 50 %. No condensation on the tub sides. The pearlite is wet- the eggs are dry.

How do we raise the tub humidity?!
