Thanks very much. I won't be able to get a snake for a few months yet, so I do have some time. I think part of the trouble is that corn snakes don't get very large and aren't as difficult to care for as other snakes, so they don't get dumped at shelters as much. This is great for the corn snakes, but I have neither the space nor the ability nor the inclination to care for a more commonly dumped species, like a Burmese. Guess I'll just keep looking  ----- Yankee_Em
