Posted by: phil bradley at Sun Jul 26 20:32:31 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by phil bradley ] I have bred BPs for a few years but I confess that I am not up to date with all the morphs out there (I tend to prefer the heterozygous morphs and still think piebalds are the most interesting). I have an adult pair of het Butterscotch Ghost BPs that produced three animals just like the one pictured last year. Unfortunately I decided to tinker with a new incubator design and the animals were found dead in the egg. There were far too many unknown variables to consider the three animals to be genetic and I eagerly anticipated this year’s breeding trials. I slit eggs on day 51 to observe the soon to be hatchlings and I saw the little guy/girl pictured with this post. The animal is halfway out tonight and I will take more pictures this week.
