Your humidity level is definitely not the problem. I have used maternal incubation with several python species in natural substrates at 90 to 95% humidity for 30 years with no issues. However, the incubation temps you are using are too high for retics, or any other python species except P. molurus. At 92 F, it is highly possible that the eggs would start to die part way through the incubation period due to developmental abnormalities. This would be especially true if your temp measurement device was reading even slightly lower than actual. The standard incubation range for retics is 88 to 90. Many people believe that mold on eggs will cause the death of that egg. In fact, with almost all fertile eggs that mold and subsequently apparently die, the embryo died first and then the mold set in. It is extremely rare that mold will cause the death of a healthy egg. One question I had would be if you internally examined each of the eggs that died, and how many of them were fertile? Thanks,
