It is apparent to me they are well designed for ingesting them, quickly! Pituophis, Arizona and Crotalus, (especially sidewinders) are a big hit. Frozen for at least a month...and fed as part of a varied diet. Amazing how instinct expresses intself, i.e. my D. couperi agressively chew and stretch the snake prey, not necessarily so when offered chicks/rodents/fish. They seem to like snakes...vic h. | ||
