Is the cloudiness on the outer surface of the eyes (cornea), or does it appear that the cloudiness is behind the iris?



If it's on the cornea it could be:



- a bacterial infection

- trauma

- a corneal ulcer



If it's behind the iris it could be:



- a cataract, which is not uniform in appareance.

- a hypopyon, which usually is accompanied by some minor swelling.
