New here! Paper question

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and ball pythons. I was wondering if someone could explain papers that come with some ball pythons but not all. I know about dog and horse papers/registration, but I have no clue about BP papers. Is it just a guarentee more or less? or ??? What is included on them? Thanks!
