I'm talking about females that are breeding one year and putting back their body weight to be able to do it again the next year. I'm sure there are many variables, such as the size of meal. I feed rather large meals and was very surprised at the number I found. I didn't look at all of my cards but enough of them to get a good idea. 15-19 rats/year is all they are eating, I also record when they skip a meal, they skip some here and there. If they wanted to eat more often they have the chances. I was glad to find out that the cost of keeping them all year was not as much as I thought. If you have feed records and feel like looking it up, I'd appreciate any input. | ||
