RE: Yet another snake killed by cops

The ones I hear are " I was riding my dirt bike and nailed a really big snake. It was beside the track, so I had to get close to the edge to get it ... or "I got a snake with my truck yesterday. I'd swerve to miss a squirrel, but I'd almost go in the ditch to get a snake". A very sad comment on perspectives. I inform them about the positives on snake populations, but most times it falls on deaf ears.
