With boa constrictors, hypo trait is not recessive. So "hypo" and "het for hypo" would (in most contexts) actually mean the same thing. In other words, hypos are hets. The trait shows with just one allele being the mutation for hypo. The term "super hypo" is used for homozygous for hypo boas. | ||
