Posted by: snakewrangler69 at Tue Aug 4 22:38:09 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by snakewrangler69 ] A recent clutch had 3 of 6 eggs go bad. This clutch was from an Albino male to a 100% Het. Albino female. This past Sunday one of the 3 eggs pipped. It was a het. for albino. I couldn't wait so I cut the second egg. Again, a het. for albino. My last chance for an albino was the third and final egg! I carefully cut it open! Dam the neonate was dark, but wait, on the other side, ALBINO! Sure enough TWINS! One Albino and one het. for albino. I assume all twins in ball pythons were identical, but obviously that is not true. In this case two fertilized egg cells were encased in the same shell. Picture to follow. [ Hide Replies ]
