Go to:

START>PROGRAMS>ACCESORIES>PAINT

Once Paint brush opens, you press FILE>OPEN and locate your photo in the correct file then double click.

Once pic opens select IMAGE>ATTRIBUTES, INCHES.

You want your photo to be 6-7" wide and 5-6' tall.

If it is much bigger, lets sat 12" X 12", you want to reduce by half. You can do this by going back to

IMAGE>STRETCH and SKEW and the reducing by 50% in this case. You would select 50% Horzontal and 50% Vertical (always keep same so pic doesnt distort).

Save as JPEG and load through PHOTOS and you should be good.

Also, if still too big you can check pixels by going back to:
IMAGE>ATTRIBUTES, PIXELS and verify you have less than I believe 1200 X 1000 or whatever they give you as max when you try and load.

It is really very easy.

I can make you a PowerPoint Presentation if you still are stuck and email it to you.

Whew!
