Hello,

Today, I walked in my snakeroom and noticed a female had laid a small clutch of eggs. Truth is, that I thought I had missed this year. I pulled the male back in late march/early april and the female kept feeding until 2 weeks ago. I was pretty surprised to see her in the process of laying. Anyway, she laid a small clutch last year, that I allowed her to incubate. 4/4 hatched but only two survived.

My first question is should I pull the eggs and try a incubator or allow her to incubate them?

Secondly, since she had such a late clutch this year, should she be held back next year? I know some people say they should be bred every other season and others say it's okay to breed them each season as long as she is a health weight. Would the timing of this clutch throw off her clutch for next year?

Thanks,

W. Smith
